Araabmuzik Says Joe Budden's Drake Disses Must Have Been 'Planned for Centuries'

During a recent interview with Billboard, producer Araabmuzik spoke about the business behind producing for artists and his experiences working with Joe Budden. "It all started with a phone from Joe breaking the album down, telling me his ideas and letting me know what he wanted," Araabmuzik said of producing Budden's 2016 record Rage & The Machine. His experience with the project led to a number of diss tracks directed at Drake, too.

When asked about what he thought of the diss songs he produced for Budden, Araabmuzik responded, "I mean I don't care—it's whatever, but it was kind of just benefiting him." Explaining that he didn't really think too much about giving him the tracks, he said the end products "didn't really shake any cages."

He did, however, say Budden was very inspired when he was in the studio recording the tracks. "[Joe] was on a thousand, he was not sleeping," Araabmuzik said. "I don't know if he took 17 Adderall. [He] was on something that was not from here. I don't know what planet it was shipped from, he must've ordered that pill in 2000 for it to come now. [He] was wilding out and going in. [He] must've had this planned for centuries."
