The domestic violence case against Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Rachel ‘Jade’ Wattley, has been dismissed because he refused to cooperate with authorities.

As reported by TMZ, court records show the charges against 6ix9ine’s partner have since been dismissed, and sources close to the situation said it’s because 6ix9ine didn’t want to get involved.

Her attorney, Steven Bell, said that his lack of cooperation is one of the leading factors for why the case was dropped, but prosecutors felt there were no grounds to pursue the case after a thorough review of the incident.

Jade was arrested in August after she allegedly punched the rapper during an argument in a upscale Greek restaurant in Miami, Florida. According to the police report of the incident, authorities saw the two arguing as they left the restaurant but did not see any physical violence.

When cops spoke with the rapper, he said she struck him, while witnesses at the scene corroborated that she pulled on his chain. Authorities said he had signs of physical injury on his face, but he refused to speak with them after the initial interaction.

6ix9ine said he intended to get her released from jail as quickly as possible, and he followed up on his promise despite a court order for her to stay away from him.

Jade was one of the alleged victims in Cardi B’s 2018 strip club assault case, which the “Hot Shit” rapper took a plea deal on last month. She was accused of asking members of her crew to attack two strip club bartenders, one of whom was Jade, during an incident in August 2018. The altercation supposedly stemmed from a claim that Jade slept with Offset. Cardi has agreed to stay away from the two victims for the next three years.
