XXXTentacion has been dead for over a year now, but his fan base is still incredibly active and willing to rally around him over any slight. Comedian Dina Hashem learned that after Comedy Central shared a joke of hers about X's death.

"Is anyone still mourning XXXTentacion? He’s a rapper, who was murdered, he’s dead now. He was shot, he was on his way to buy a car with $50,000 in cash and somebody shot him and took the money," she said in the since-deleted bit. "Which is very tragic, but I also think it would be a very good Venmo commercial. That’s the first thing I thought when I heard that. Like, 'I don’t have Venmo, I should get Venmo.'"

The joke about the young rapper's murder prompted plenty of X's friends and fans to respond. Ski Mask The Slump God retweeted the clip, essentially boosting the reach of the clip so that fans could get angry about it.

The reaction was strong enough that Hashem issued an apology on Instagram, saying that the bit has been effectively blacklisted.

"I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings, that's never what I want," she wrote. "I'm a comic and use jokes to try and make dark topics less painful but I realize not everyone feels that way, and I don't want anyone to feel badly. It was taken down and won't air on TV."

That wasn't enough for many X fans, who can still be found threatening Hashem in the comments of her apology. It's clear that all of this rage from X fans has rattled Hashem, as she set her Twitter account to private.
