The first of Lana Del Rey’s two promised “end of summer jams” has arrived. On Wednesday, the singer dropped off “Mariners Apartment Complex,” a tender track produced by Jack Antonoff. Listen to the new single above.
The song is accompanied with a video directed by Rey's sister and master visual artist Chuck Grant.
Her second song, “Venice Bitch,” will be released Sept. 18. Both of these new singles are produced by Antonoff and come off her 2019 record. The project will be the singer’s sixth studio album, following 2017's Lust For Life.
Rey recently postponed a show in Israel following backlash from fans and Palestinian activists. The singer released a statement earlier this month explaining that she postponed her performance at Meteor Festival not because she decided to boycott Israel and its human rights violations, but because inability to schedule a coinciding trip to Palestine.
