During the Verzuz between Fat Joe and Ja Rule earlier this week, Joe made some disrespectful comments toward rappers Lil Mo and Vita, who came out to perform with Ja for a few songs.

Mo has since aired out Joe for calling her and Vita “dusty bitches” who people have “gotta go to the crackhouse to find,” and received apologies in turn. But it didn’t take long before 50 Cent joined the fray to get his two cents in.

“Ok scratch that off the list, can’t say dusty bitches or crack head anymore,” 50 posted on Instagram, using an image of a TMZ post about Joe’s comments. “Wait, is this official because Gucci man is smoking on pooky loc😕 i’m just asking for a friend.”

He’s referencing the 2020 Verzuz between Gucci Mane and Jeezy, where Guwop made comments about murdering Jeezy’s friend, a move that did not prompt any apology.

50 has been known to joke about situations he’s not involved in. During the Verzuz battle, the G-Unit rapper was also trolling Irv Gotti in the Instagram Live comments section.

Fat Joe took to Twitter following the Verzuz to apologize to Lil Mo and Vida for disrespecting them during the bout.

Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters

“Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters,” Joe tweeted. He proceeded to say sorry additional times via Instagram posts and comments.

Lil Mo did an interview after the Verzuz where she criticized how “vile” Joe’s comments were:

“We’ve seen the recent deaths from people overdosing and stuff. … We’re not gonna play those type of games,” she told TMZ. Later, Mo emphasized how disappointing Joe’s comments were, especially given the importance of the battle.

“It was so vile and really disappointing and disheartening because I was there to support both,” she said.
