Def Jam Recording artist Bino Rideaux just released his latest project Outside. This is Bino's first tape as a Def Jam artist. The 15-track offering features appearances from Mozzy, Fredo Bang, Ty Dolla Sign, and others. He released the cover art and tracklist earlier this week. Prior to this project, Bino dropped Sorry 4 tha Wait back in 2019.

Bino is a product of the West Coast, who has also been one of the torchbearers for the sound that the late-great Nipsey Hussle shouldered throughout his career. Outside delivers exactly what we're all craving right now, an escape from our current self-quarantined situation. Tracks like "Mismatch" and "Balloon" sound like they should be played over car speakers with the top down so the beat can breathe, while "Breakfast" and "Cold Feet" showcase a more introspective sound that Bino is able to tap into.

In 2016, Bino and Nipsey Hussle connected on "The Field" and and "Clarity." They also released the joint project No Pressure in 2017.

"We kept rocking ever since," Bino said about their relationship. "That’s one of the most major parts that made me 'me' today. I feel a lot different than I was prior to meeting bro.” He also credited Nipsey’s business and artistic inspirations as well. "He laid out the blueprint for me.""

Now, Outside looks to be that blueprint realized. Bino also recently dropped a music video for his song "Bet," once again utilizing his patent West Coast sound and storytelling.
