Following Post Malone's Travis Barker-assisted Nirvana tribute fundraiser for COVID-19 relief, Posty is putting up a million dollars and letting fans decide how it will be distributed.

As announced Wednesday by Posty's team, the Hollywood's Bleeding artist will personally review submissions texted to 817-270-6440 via the Community platform. The donations aim to assist in specific areas including COVID-19 frontline responders, education, homelessness, mental health, veteran aid, and more.

"Not everyone has the ability to financially support causes that may be close to them or that have helped them in the past," Posty said in a statement. "The fans are the absolute best and I want to give them the chance to give to charities that mean something to them."

This $1 million interactive effort follows the aforementioned Nirvana tribute livestream, which proved to be both an exhilaratingly rewatchable affair and a massively succcessful fundraising boost. The set, streamed straight from Posty’s house, has raised more than $4.3 million for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

"We kinda just wanted to kinda fuck around and have a good time and I guess just remember that everything ain't all bad necessarily," Posty told fans during the set, which saw him donning a floral dress as a nod to the late Kurt Cobain. "There's always people that want to reach out and help. That means a lot."

Below, revisit the set, which commendably kicks off with a rendition of "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle."
