Alina Baraz has released her debut studio album It Was Divine.
Featuring appearances from 6lack, Smino, Khalid, and Nas, It Was Divine is enveloped by a dreamy atmosphere and Baraz's gentle vocal delivery. "This album gravitates around love and self. Losing it then finding it," she explained. "A stream of thought, a shift in my perspective. It's learning how to take care of myself. Nourishing what's real. Learning how to let go. Learning how to let love in."
Last week, Baraz announced she was bringing the release of the album forward to April 24 from May 5. "Giving u the album early cause I love u," she wrote alongside a teaser for the project. The pre-release songs "Endlessly," "More Than Enough," and the 6lack-assisted "Morocco" all appear on the record.
