It's been one year since Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot in Los Angeles, and his friend and collaborator Bino Rideaux has paid tribute with a new track.

The two rappers previously collaborated on a number of tracks throughout the years, and it's clear Nip's passing was hard on Rideaux. "This shit hurt right now," he raps on his newly released tribute "Pride 2 the Side."

To coincide with the release, he shared a short statement on the record. "Real pain, real emotion, and most importantly real stories in this record, it's been a whole year since we lost our brother," Rideaux wrote in the description for the song on SoundCloud. "Shit will never be the same #LLNH FOREVER!"

Nip was shot and killed on March 31, 2019 just outside of his store Marathon Clothing in Los Angeles. Following his death, there was an outpouring of love for the late rapper.
