Snapchat has launched its original docuseries Tekashi69 VS The World, which provides an up-to-the-minute look at the 6ix9ine's life and career—exploring everything from his days growing up in Brooklyn to becoming one of music's biggest stars to his highly publicized legal battle.

The series includes exclusive interviews with DJ Akademiks, as well as Adam22, China Mac, Yaksha from the "Fck Them" record label, DJ Blue Diamond, DJ PVNCH, Cuban Doll, and Ernie Mack, among others. Tekashi69 VS The World premieres just days after 6ix9ine received a two-year prison sentence for federal racketeering charges. His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, says he expects the rapper—legal name Daniel Hernandez—to be out by July 2020.

You can watch Tekashi69 VS The World, produced by Complex, on Snapchat.

The series is the first of Snap's VS The World franchise, which will chronicle the lives of celebrities—in both entertainment and sports—with exclusive footage and commentary, and is a part of Snapchat's Snap Originals programming.
