YK Osiris has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. The singer is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault by strangulation as authorities claim he choked his girlfriend at his birthday party.

According to TMZ, Osiris was arrested on Monday in Atlanta. The charges stem from a party in September in which the artist's girlfriend confronted him over images of another woman on his phone. She claims they got into a shouting match and Osiris said that he was "going to slap the shit out of you."

The woman said that Osiris chased her upstairs and choked her and bit her face. She said the fight was broken up after she bit his lip. The police report, obtained by TMZ, said the woman had a mark under her eye where she was allegedly bitten.

Osiris has been denied bond, so he must wait in a jail until his preliminary hearing at the Fulton County court.

Complex has reached out to a rep for YK but have yet to hear back.

In other news, the R&B singer recently claimed that no one listens to Bryson Tiller. "Nobody listen to Bryson Tiller," he said, while running through a list of other singers. He also delineated himself from Jacquees in the interview, which was done with Rolling Stone. "Jacquees ain’t really on my level. I don’t feel like he’s on my level. Vocally, yes. But music-wise, nah," YK said. "For me to be young, to sing sexual...Nah, I don’t think he coming like that."
