Selena Gomez is making serious career moves as of late, with her upcoming film role in The Dead Don't Die hitting theaters June 14. However, the "Wolves" singer still had a bit of unfinished business, particularly with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber's continued presence on her Instagram grid.
Over the weekend, Gomez's fans noticed she had deleted a March 2018 birthday post dedicated to Bieber. The photo showed Gomez holding a Polaroid of she and the "Sorry" singer on her forehead, with the caption, "March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom."
Although the move likely wasn't as earth-shattering for Selena as it was for media outlets and her devoted fanbase, accounts dedicated to celebrating the singer took to social media to celebrate the picture's removal. "Let's rejoice and cheer Miss #SelenaGomez finally deleted her birthday to ex boyfriend #JustinBieber from 2018," the account @theselenarundown wrote on Instagram.
Gomez recently participated in a charity softball game to raise money for pediatric cancer research alongside Paul Rudd, Katherine McNamara, Jason Sudeikis, and more. She and Shazam! star Zachary Levi even serenaded one of the patients at Children's Mercy Hospital during their visit to Kansas City.
