New Dipset content has arrived. Jim Jones has dropped his new album El Capo eight years after delivering Capo. It's also Jones' second record in a year, following April 2018's Wasted Talent.

El Capo is a collaboration with longtime Diplomats producers the Heatmakerz. Jones also brought along many Timberland-wearing New York favorites, including Dave East, Fat Joe, Fabolous, and Cam'ron. Mozzy and Rick Ross also make appearances.

Jones has had a pretty solid past couple of months. In April, he dodged jail time for drugs and weapons charges following a 2018 incident in which police busted him with weed, Oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, cash, and two loaded guns inside a vehicle. Jones also popped up at JAY-Z's B-Sides show, where Hov made clear that the Dipset crew weren't his enemies after their beef last decade.

Outside of the booth, Jones has been sharing some spicy takes on footwear. He proclaimed that Harlem made Nike Boots hot, even though Wale made a whole song named after them.

"Wale don't want to have no sneaker conversation with me," he said on Full Size Run. "He get fly, but a lot of the sneakers he be wearing be boo-boo. I don't like them joints."
