Flying Lotus Releases New Song "More," Shares What He Misses About Mac Miller

Flying Lotus recently revealed that his new album 'Flamagra' is on the way soon, featuring two tributes to the late rapper.

Flying Lotus recently revealed that his new album Flamagra is on the way soon, sharing the video for the David Lynch-featuring "Fire Is Coming" to coincide with the announcement. He also said that the release would feature to two tributes to the late Mac Miller, with "Find Your Own Way Home" and "Thank U Malcolm." Now the Los Angeles musician has shared another track from the release, with the Anderson .Paak-featuring "More."

Lotus also sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe as part of the release for the new single, and during the chat he spoke about working with .Paak, the wisdom Thundercat shares with him, and what he misses most about Mac Miller. "Mac lived right down the street from me, so I would see him on a rare occasion, but it was always after he made a whole bunch of shit," he explained.

He said that he was showed full albums by Miller, who would insist on showing him everything he's working one. "He was the one person just constantly kicking my door down trying to get beats off me," he added. "'Hey man, I know you're working on a movie now, but what stuff you been working on?' I'm gonna miss that man, I miss that already."

Flamagra is set for release via Warp Records on May 24. The project also features appearances from George Clinton, Denzel Curry, Tierra Whack, Shabazz Palaces, Toro y Moi, and Solange among others.
