BTS have dropped their newest EP, Map of the Soul: Persona. The release includes a feature from Halsey on “Boy with Luv (작은 것들을 위한 시).” The group also put out the song's candy-colored video, where we first see the seven members dressed in pink while dancing outdoors. Halsey—who we see in the beginning—sports long, fire-red hair before reappearing later to dance with the boy band in an all-white outfit.

BTS is set to be Saturday Night Live’s musical guest this weekend, where they’ll perform two songs from the EP. The most recent offerings from the K-pop group include the August 2018 compilation album Love Yourself: Answer and the April 2018 studio album Face Yourself.

On New Year's Eve, member Jimin toppled Drake's SoundCloud record with his first solo single “약속 (Promise),” amassing more than 1 million streams within literal minutes of its release. According to Forbes, the song garnered over 8.5 million streams in its first 24 hours of availability, giving it the most streams of any SoundCloud song on the first day of release. In early January, the track was nearing 17 million total plays in less than a week.
