Chris Brown has dropped his new song "Wobble Up," which finds him joining forces with Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy over a bounce-influenced beat. With the New Orleans feel, the three provide breezy but explicit verses. This is his third preview of his ninth studio album, Indigo.
Brown announced via Twitter that a video for the track is on the way.
In the lead-up to Indigo, which currently doesn't have a release date, Brown has shared the singles "Undecided" and "Back to Love," the later of which pays tribute to Michael Jackson. "Back to Love" was his first release following allegations of rape in January. The video was filmed in Paris, which is where he was detained following the accusations. He repeatedly denied the allegation, stating, "I feel like I don't have to explain any bullshit or any lie that somebody has been perpetrating or portraying me as."
He also recently got himself into a beef with Migos rapper Offset. After making light of 21 Savage's immigration case, Offset called Brown a "lame." In response, Brown said, "I'ma send ya girl flowers so she know I respect her. I'm disappointed in this n***a. As his father I should have been there more in his life so he wouldn't have come out a lame azz n***a."
