Unbeknownst to the audience, Lady Gaga paid a visit to Fred Durst’s jazz night at Los Angeles’ Black Rabbit Rose lounge and theater on Thursday, where the Oscar-winning actress and singer performed a surprise set of Frank Sinatra covers.

“I’m here to ruin the party. I’m so sorry,” Gaga said before singing Sinatra’s classics like “Call Me Irresponsible” and “Fly Me To The Moon.” Gaga often performs these songs as part of her Las Vegas residency, which currently runs until November. “My whole life, you know, I’ve been called irresponsible,” she said, before performing the Sinatra cover. “It doesn’t make me so mad because it’s kind of true. And I like to hear the truth.”

Earlier this year, Gaga performed her song “Shallow” from A Star Is Born at the 2019 Oscars, which won the award for Best Original Song. The film was also nominated for seven additional awards, including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Afterward, her intimate Oscars performance with co-star Bradley Cooper was widely discussed, as many speculated on whether the two are dating. Gaga put that idea to rest during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show, where she called social media “the toilet of the internet.”
