It's impossible to slow Ty Dolla Sign down. The feature-hungry workhorse just can't be thrown off of the path that he's laid out for himself by anything short of a jail sentence. Lucky for him (and us), the studio rat just ducked one. Prosecutors in Atlanta have agreed to a deal in his drug possession case that will not only allow him to be a free man but also wipe his record clean.

According to TMZ, Ty struck a deal with prosecutors that would have him entering into an online drug prevention program and make him subject to testing for 13 weeks.

If he can stay clean and meet the requirements, 2 felonies and a misdemeanor will disappear.

It's all part of a program that Georgia calls Second Chance and Ty ended up needing it after he was caught in September with cocaine and pot in his luggage (allegedly).

Video from that arrest showed Ty being led away from a van he was riding in. Police dogs alerted on the van, but given that it was full of people prior to the stop, establishing possession had to be a problem. The publication said that the deal was reached after Ty's attorney pointed out to prosecutors that their case was weak.

Now that that weight has been lifted, Ty can get back to doing what he does best: working with literally everybody and trolling young performers who have tried to claim the title of "King of R&B."
