Kanye West, Vic Mensa, and Pharrell Williams have teamed up with South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster to provide the soundtrack for their recently released "Collection 13" campaign. No stranger to soundtracking fashion campaigns, Yeezy appears to take on production duties on the previously unreleased song heard in the audio-visual project. Malik Yusef, who was recently accused of forging Kanye's signature, is also credited on one of the project's songwriters.
Featuring vocals from Pharrell and Vic Mensa, the song is accompanied by futuristic visuals showcasing the latest eyewear from Gentle Monster. Mensa also makes an appearance in the video, appearing frustrated while toying around with a robotic arm. Actor Michael K. Williams shows up as a model for a brief moment.
Gentle Monster promises to announce more artists involved in their "13 MUSIC" project soon. Check out Gentle Monster's "Collection 13" on their website.
In other Kanye West news, Valentine's Day saw him enlist the help of Kenny G to proclaim his love for his wife Kim Kardashian. Ye has been known to surprise Kim with musical performances in the past, recently recruiting 112 to serenade her over FaceTime and hiring an orchestra to perform Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" during his proposal.
