21 Savage didn’t forget. At least not this time.

On Thursday night, the Atlanta rapper delivered i am > i was, the follow-up to his 2017 debut project Issa Album. 21 seemingly teased the release in early November, when he tweeted the date “12-7-18.” Naturally, many fans assumed the post confirmed 21’s sophomore album release date; however, Dec. 7 came and went with no project to be found.

“Dam I forgot to drop my album my bad y’all,” 21 tweeted on the night of the expected release.

Thankfully for fans, the wait wasn't too long. i am > i was is now available all on all major streaming services, including Apple Music, iTunes, and via Spotify below.

The 14-track album includes appearances by Post Malone, Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Offset, and Schoolboy Q. In support of the effort, 21 launched a Motel 21 interactive art exhibit in Atlanta. You can learn more about the event, which wraps up Friday, over on 21’s official website.
