Joyner Lucas went ahead and made the seemingly good-natured internet rap beef with Tory Lanez official. Lucas responded to Tory Lanez' diss—which was itself a response to a challenge from Lucas—with "Litty Freestyle." It's a towering achievement of height-related jokes.

In the response, Lucas clowns Lanez for being short, balding, and an R&B singer over the beat from Meek Mill's DC4 track "Litty." While all those shots were predictable, it's hard to hear "We already got Drake and we don't need another" without wincing a bit on Lanez' behalf.

In case you're unfamiliar, this whole back-and-forth started when Tory Lanez boasted that he was better than Lucas during a live video.

"The Joyner kid? He's nice, but he can't fuck with me," he said. "Not on no level, period."

Lucas responded by challenging Lanez to an online rap battle. Lucas asked the Love Me Now? artist to send his best shots and then Lucas would do the same, allowing the internet to decide who won.

"If your so confident my guy, let’s pick a beat. You spit your hardest bars over it and I'll do the same," Joyner wrote on Instagram. "We'll let the people decide who ain’t fucking with who... If you're not willing to step up and accept my proposal, then don’t ever say no silly shit like, 'bar for bar Joyner Lucas ain’t fucking with me' ever again in your life."

While Lucas took some absolutely brutal shots at Lanez in the track, he makes it clear that he's still cool with the Canadian rapper. He closes the track by making it clear that he'd still like to work with Lanez in the future.

"Now that we got that out of the way, let's make a record," he said.
