Report Suggests Kanye, Childish Gambino, and Justin Timberlake Will Headline Coachella 2019

Coachella 2019 will take place in April.

Childish Gambino, Justin Timberlake, and Kanye West will be headlining Coachella next year, according to "informed sources" close to Hits Daily Double. Gambino, Timberlake, and Ye are rumored to be closing out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. The festival is set to take place in April of next year.

Gambino announced last week that he was rescheduling the remaining dates of his This Is America Tour for December after suffering a foot injury. Childish performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival the Friday before the announcement of the postponement was made, despite arriving to the venue in a wheelchair and leg brace, according to TMZ

Following a two-month stint in Europe, Timberlake’s Man of the Woods Tour continued the North American leg after a short break. The tour will conclude on January 29, 2019 in Denver, Colorado.

Earlier today, Kim Kardashian revealed that Yandhi’s delay would be much longer than expected. Kanye’s upcoming album will not be released until Black Friday, which falls on November 23. West explained the reason behind the delay when he stopped by TMZ. "I didn't finish it," he said. "A person from my management staff, our management staff, had suggested because the album is so good, it's my...I started incorporating sounds that you never heard before and pushing it, and having like, concepts that people don't, you know, talk about." Kanye says he plans to go "to Africa in two weeks to record."

After dropping two albums in 2018, Kanye could be ready to take those new songs, and the rest of his catalog, on the road next year. Timberlake and Gambino will be done with their respective tours well before Coachella, supporting HDD’s report.
