We (meaning I) won't pretend to understand the ins-and-outs (or really anything) about ASMR (also known as autonomous sensory meridian response). But if you're the type of person who's into that stuff this video from W Magazine showing Cardi B bust out some soothing voices, whispers, a very soft okkurrr and...uh, however you want to describe what she's doing with those mics, will be right up your alley.

Check it out up top.

What you may note if you do click on that actual YouTube link is that commenters who seem to know a hell of a lot about ASMR praised the Platinum-selling artist for apparently also knowing a hell of a lot about ASMR.

If you previously have happened to know where to look (and also, by random chance, came across this at the right time) you'd be aware that Cardi's interest in ASMR dates back to at least, and probably well before, December 2017 when she talked about it during an interview with BBC Radio's Charlie Sloth, and did a few bars from "Bodak Yellow."

"They just talk and they make you go to sleep, basically," she said at the time of YouTube's ASMR community.

A few weeks later she also made a brief note of her avid viewership of the medium to those paying attention on Twitter:

Kiari thinks I’m weird cause i watch ALOT of asmr video 😩 Like all deum day
