Kamaiyah Pleads Guilty to Charges Stemming From Airport Incident

Kamaiyah has pleaded guilty to charges that stemmed from a disturbance that occurred at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport back in May.

AP reports that Kamaiyah has pleaded guilty to creating a public disturbance, which stems from an incident that went down at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut back in May after the Oakland rapper reportedly unleashed an expletive-laden response to airport security who instructed her to take off her headwear.

At the time, Kamaiyah posted bail of $5,000 for charges of misdemeanor breach of peace and interfering with police. More specifically, she had reportedly gotten angry at a state trooper and a TSA agent and refused to remove her head cover after it allegedly set off an alarm. After pulling her aside, they say she again refused.

AP adds that, as a result of this guilty plea, she will pay a fine of $50. That's not a typo. The outlet also adds that, as per her plea deal, she wrote an apology to the state trooper who was reportedly on the business end of her verbal outburst on that day.
