What’s up, guys? Frazier here for Complex News. Cardi B will not be joining Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour after all.
The massive world tour began back in March of 2017. Cardi was originally set to be the opening act for the North American final leg of the tour beginning this fall.
Cardi broke the new development to her fans on IG.
As of today I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this Fall. I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road. I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby! Thank you Bruno for being so supportive and understanding.”
Bruno hopped onto social media a little while after Cardi's message to show his support for her decision with a post titled “A message for Cardi.”
“Most important thing is you and your family’s health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and behalf of everyone on The 24k Magic Tour.”
Keep it locked as news comes in about who will be replacing Cardi’s spot on the tour. People hoping to get a little Bronx flavor alongside premium pop music on this tour are probably bummed but, Bruno is still gonna put on a hell of a show and Cardi will likely return to the road sooner than later.

Cardi for her part, made sure to reassure fans that she's not falling back from the spotlight any time soon. During her IG live she said she shot a video for her Kehlani collab "Ring" that should be dropping soon, and oh yea she has a whole ass new project that she said will drop sometime in the fall.
