When Beyoncé and Jay-Z begin the North American leg of the On the Run II tour in July, they will have Chloe x Halle, and DJ Khaled as their opening acts. The duo excitedly made the announcement on Thursday with a video on Twitter.
"We will be opening for the North American leg of On the Run II. That's right, the kids are on the run, too,” Chloe said. “We are so very excited for this family reunion of Parkwood and Roc Nation,” Halle added. “We cannot wait to join the North American leg of this tour; we cannot wait to see your beautiful faces and we're so thankful to Beyoncé and to Jay-Z, and we just know that this is going to be an epic reunion."
The reunion that Halle is speaking about may be related to the fact that they were opening acts on Beyoncé’s The Formation World Tour in 2016. DJ Khaled also opened on various dates of her North American tilt.
Earlier today, DJ Khaled also shared that he would be joining OTRII on Instagram.
