Days after he declared himself the “best” artist of his generation, Smokepurpp released his new mixtape Bless Yo Trap in collaboration with Canadian producer Murda Beatz.

The project was confirmed earlier this week on social media, along with a vague release window.

“I’m here to announce that Bless Yo Trap the project will be coming out before May,” Smokepurpp said in an Instagram video. “You heard it first.”

Fans didn’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the joint mixtape.

The project includes titles like “Do Not Disturb” featuring Lil Yachty and Offset, “Pray” with ASAP Ferg,” and “123.” The latter of which reportedly inspired the full-length release.

“The night we made ‘123,’ I was making the beats from scratch in the studio—we made ‘Do Not Disturb’ that night and seven other records from scratch,” Murda recently told XXL magazine. “We made almost the whole [project] in one night. That's how this came together. I was like, ‘Yo, we need to drop a fucking album.’”
