Donald Glover has ended the suspense of the mysterious counter on his PHAROS Earth app and released information regarding a full album experience and list of dates for shows in Joshua Tree, CA.

Fans that downloaded the app are taken into outer space traveling towards a blue object, which looks like Earth, or some other planet. We didn’t have a lot of details behind the counter besides Glover updating his Twitter avatar with the artwork. It turns out our suspicion of new music were right, as he’s promised a deliver an album live for his fans.

The last time Glover released a project was in 2014. It was a dual release for his seventh mixtape and second EP titled STN MTN / Kauai, which featured songs like “Sober” and ill freestyles over “Move That Dope” and “Southern Hospitality.” His last proper album was Because of Internet released a year before.

Aside from PHAROS, Glover has been working on his highly anticipated FX original series Atlanta. In recent weeks, Glover has shared two teasers that give us a better idea of the show and his character Earnest "Earn" Marks. It premieres sometime in September on FX.

Until then, Glover fans can look forward to these upcoming fall shows. Pre-sale for tickets will be available in app starting June 24 at 9 a.m. PT. General onsale starts June 27 at 9 a.m. PT. Tickets are $99 each including all taxes and fees.
