A site of the pornographic variety recently got an unexpected traffic boost from the Royal Family.

Indeed, the official Royal.uk site accidentally linked out to a Chinese porn site instead of Welsh charity Dolen Cymru, per a New York Post report by way of noted purveyors of breaking news over at the Sun. The would-be Dolen Cymru link instead sent users to the aforementioned porn site of the same name, which is said to have featured your usual fanfare, as well as click-through links for hardcore categories including "rape incest porn."

According to the report, Buckingham Palace was ultimately informed of the fuck-up, resulting in a link correction. Now, site visitors can learn about the Prince Harry–favored charity without first sifting through porn. The charity, per its actual site, aims to "creative lasting, positive change in the southern African Kingdom of Lesotho and in communities here at home in Wales."

Back in 2007, Prince Harry was appointed as Patron of Dolen Cymru. "I am so very proud to be associated with Dolen Cymru," he said in a statement at the time. "The work that it does in assisting and encouraging organizations and individuals in Wales to establish contact and foster friendships with their counterparts in Lesotho is quite invaluable."

In semi-related Royal Family news, the Queen's nephew the Earl of Snowdon and his wife the Countess of Snowdon were reported on Tuesday to have "amicably agreed" to get divorced.

"They ask that the press respect their privacy and that of their family," a spokesperson told the BBC.
