LRG has revived one of its most iconic—and highly coveted—sweatshirt designs.

The streetwear brand took to Instagram this week to announce the rerelease of its Dead Serious Skeleton Hoodie—an eye-catching piece that made its debut in 2006. The design became an immediate hit, as it was worn by Kanye West during Stella McCartney’s spring/summer 2007 Paris Fashion Week show. ’Ye was photographed wearing the red iteration that retailed around $100 at the time—making it a much more affordable alternative to the BAPE Shark Hoodie.

Inspired by 1984’s Karate Kid movie, the Dead Serious piece features a glow-in-the-dark skeleton graphic that spans across the arms, torso, and up to the hood. Just like the original version, the new hoodies also come with a two-way gold zipper, a custom LRG rivet embroidered on the right chest, as well as other branding details throughout.

“We have gone back to the original manufacturer and factory, replicating the original design specifications and re-created this grailed piece, down to the finest of details,” LRG wrote about the rerelease.

The Dead Serious Hoodie will be available in the red and black colorways this Friday at LRG’s official website. You can check out the lookbook images, shot by Paul Middleton and starring Benny the Butcher, below.
