Future has been tapped to serve as the creative for Lanvin’s first Lab collection.

As announced Friday, Future has been enlisted to design a capsule under the Lanvin Lab umbrella. Per a news release, the collection will mark a celebration of “groundbreaking and individualistic vision that bridges a gap between music and fashion.” The collection, featuring ready-to-wear pieces and accessories for men and women, is expected to be rolled out this fall.

Future’s temporary position is part of the larger Lanvin Lab project, the first chapter of which is said to be inspired by the daughter of the French fashion house’s late founder Jeanne Lanvin. Starting with the Future-helmed capsule, Lanvin Lab will see Lanvin releasing a series of collaborative collections designed to accompany the main seasonal ones from the label.

The Freebandz founder is fresh off his appearance on Young Thug’s Business Is Business project, out today. The album is Thug’s first full-length to be released since he was first jailed in connection with the YSL RICO case. Future appears on the track “Cars Bring Me Out” and is joined on the 15-track project’s roster of guests by Drake, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

Future also has something new on the horizon with Metro Boomin. Speaking with Complex earlier this month, Metro said that he’s locking into a state of “tunnel vision” in order to get the project done.

“The ultimate project right now is about to be the one with me and Future,” he told Complex at a Heroes & Villains pop-up. “Now that [Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse] is out and people are loving and resonating with it, my focus can go to what me and Pluto got coming out. I’m not doing anything until that gets done.”
