Red Wing Heritage knows a thing or two about nice ass boots. For more than a century, the American brand has created some of the most iconic and well-received shoe designs—never abandoning its formula of comfort, durability, and timeless style.
This month, Red Wing has expanded its offerings with a new boot called the #9197. And it’s pretty much what you would expect from the brand.
You see, this style was modeled after the #101 Postman Oxford, a 1954 release that was intended to provide comfort and protection for both police officers and postal workers. But this season, the brand decided to put a spin on the classic shoe, and created a 6-inch boot variation that we’re pretty much drooling over. It features a black chaparral leather upper with a cushion crepe wedge sole, and sturdy Goodyear Welt—meaning they're sure to last. But the best part of these boots? They look awesome.
