Cult of Individuality and rapper El Alfa are set to collaborate in honor of the brand’s 15th anniversary.

The streetwear brand, founded by musician and designer Ron Poisson in 2009, and the Dominican star are set to co-design a series of limited edition drops beginning in December.

Founded by musician and designer Ron Poisson, the brand has a history of music-inspired collaborations with music icons such as Guns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Marley. Cult of Individuality has been able to count on the long-term support from A-list artists including 50 Cent, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, and many others.

“Music has been at the center of the universe for the Cult brand since its inception. From rock, to hip-hop, and every genre in between, we have always aligned with ‘culture,’ which is in our name,” Poisson said in a statement made to Complex.

“El Alfa is a pioneer in music and has a distinctive fashion sense which will add greatly to our collaborations. We are very excited about working with him to deliver our brand to his international audience,” he added.

“I am the King of Dembow music and they call me ‘El Jefe,’ the boss. I have been doing this fashion shit for a long time,” Alfa, 33, also said in a statement to Complex, adding that this is his first fashion partnership.

“I was impressed with what Cult of Individuality was doing out here in streetwear and wanted to work with a team to make fly gear for my people and stuff I can rock,” he added.

The Dominican-born artist, born Enmanuel Herrera, has solidified himself as a bonafide hitmaker with his dancefloor-stomping tracks such as “Singapur,” “Suave,” “Plebada” with Peso Pluma, and “La Mamá de la Mamá.”

Alfa took home trophies for Best New Male Artist and Tropical Song of the Year for “Bebé” with Camila at the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.

The “King of Dembow” is currently on his El Mejor Del Planeta World Tour, which is set to play arenas this fall in major cities including Boston, Miami, and Newark.

Their partnership, which officially kicked off on Tuesday, will introduce limited edition drops beginning on Cyber Monday (Dec. 2) through Q3 in 2025 exclusively on Cult of Individuality’s website.

An official Cult of Individuality x El Alfa capsule collection will then launch in Fall 2025.
