This Saturday, Ronnie Fieg extends his relationship with Timberland by introducing his latest trio of boots in collaboration with the brand.
Dubbed the Chapter 3 collection, the offering will consist of three designs: two pairs of the 40 Below Super Boot and Fieg's latest interpretation of the classic 6" Boot. Each 40 Below Super Boot is given a traditional Timberland color scheme inspired by the popular 6" Boot. One pair of the 10" model is done up in an all-black nubuck colorway with a waterproof upper, while the other opts for a distressed rust leather. Each features the usual details of the model including a leather ankle collar, metal eyelets, and large Timberland logo on the lateral ankle. For the 6" Boot, Fieg opts to give the traditional winter silhouette a more premium look. The upper is done in a waterproof navy blue upper with a cream leather ankle collar acting as a minor hit of contrast.
Details across all three pairs include special Kith-branded dubraes and full collar-to-toe shearling inner linings. Even the foot bed is made up shearling fur for guaranteed warmth in the coldest of temperatures. The "Rust" 40 Below Super Boot and 6" Boot use a white shearling liner, while the "Triple Black" 40 Below stays tonal with a black liner.
Although Fieg's relationship with Timberland extends all the way back to his time working at David Z, this project marks just the third offering between both parties since Kith's launch back in 2011.
The Ronnie Fieg x Timberland Chapter 3 collection will be available Saturday, Jan. 20 at Kith stores (except Miami) and kith.com at 11 a.m. EST. Both 40 Below Super Boots will retail at $300, and the 6" Boot will be available for $250. Customers can expect the boots to come in special co-branded packaging as well.
