Aston Villa's Alisha Lehmann may be the most followed female soccer player on the planet but she also has a fan in a certain Toronto rapper named Drake.
According to the DirTea Talk podcast hosted by Shirin David, the 24-year-old athlete revealed that Drake slid into her DMs to ask her for a jersey.
David asked Lehmann who the most famous person to contact her was to which she responded Drake.
"That was only three days ago," Lehmann reportedly said according to a translated conversation via The Mirror. "Drake wrote to me! He asked for a jersey!"
Lehmann's team Aston Villa is off to a rocky start to its season, having dropped its first two games. Lehmann has also yet to record a goal or assist.
Drake, on the other hand, is in the midst of celebrating his latest album For All The Dogs and being the first artist to secure a 21 Savage concert appearance outside of the United States.
Drake's interest in soccer isn't particularly new either. In 2022, he and LeBron James became minority investors in the Italian club AC Milan. OVO has also collaboration with local team Toronto FC in the past as well.
