UPDATED 1/15, 12:20 p.m. ET: Deontay Wilder as chimed in on Tyson Fury's masturbation claims. "Whatever he says is for entertainment or whatever," Wilder told TMZ recently. "He wanna jack off? Enjoy himself! Just use the proper lotion. I mean some like thick lotion."

Wilder also said he would retire if he was knocked out in the second round, as Fury predicts.

If you've seen a single film in the Rocky franchise, then you know that boxers can have some truly bizarre ways of preparing for their opponent. Take the original 1976 film, for example, where Rocky Balboa goes into a walk-in freezer to beat his meat. OK, not literally. In the iconic scene, he briefly spars with giant carcasses of beef until he and his hands are too tired to go on. Again, nothing from that last sentence should be interpreted as sexual, but we get it.

In preparation for his rematch with Deontay Wilder next month, Tyson Fury revealed at their press conference on Tuesday that he's also training by beating his meat, but he actually means it quite literally. In fact, he's doing it up to seven times a day. With a smile on his face, Fury explained that the purpose is to keep his testosterone levels up.

In their first bout in December of 2018, Fury and Wilder finished with controversial split decision draw. At the time, Wilder believed that his two knockdowns of Tyson, one of which went viral, were enough to earn the victory. "I think with the two knockdowns I definitely won the fight," the WBC heavyweight champion said. "We poured our hearts out tonight. We’re both warriors, but with those two drops I think I won the fight."

Their rematch will take place in Las Vegas on February 22.
