Jason Pierre-Paul Shares Graphic Photos of His Hand on Anniversary of Firework Accident

On the third year anniversary of the fireworks accident which nearly resulted in him losing his right hand, Jason Pierre-Paul shared a message warning his followers to be safe on the 4th of July.

Warning: Extremely graphic photos below:

On this day three years ago, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul nearly jeopardized his NFL career when he suffered a horrific right hand injury in a fireworks accident. Yesterday, Pierre-Paul shared some incredibly graphic photos of his hand on Instagram as a warning that everyone needs to be careful when using fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.

"It’s been 3yrs since my accident and I can truly say I'm very blessed and fortunate to be where I am in life," Pierre-Paul wrote. "Looking at these pictures seems unreal and crazy. How your life can change in the blink of an eye. One of the greatest American traditions in celebrating 4th of July is with fireworks. Unfortunately, tomorrow someone will be injured playing with fireworks."

We’re going to warn you now that the photos are super graphic. Like, you may want to avoid these images if you want to keep down all the food you ate today.

Like, no one is judging you if you back out.

Seriously. Just exit out of this window now, if you’re having second thoughts.

Ok, gonna throw this picture in first.

Alright, well, you scrolled this far. Here you go, and don't say we didn't warn you...

One year after the fireworks accident, Pierre-Paul released a PSA warning people of the dangers that can occur when messing around with fireworks. If these photos don't make you want to avoid fireworks at all costs, we don't know what will.
