It was the reaction that the Internet couldn't get enough of last night. Shortly after the Denver Broncos scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to increase their lead over the Carolina Panthers to 22-10, the cameras caught Eli Manning giving some strong "Manning Face," his version of Blue Steel.
People wondered what was going through his mind at the time. Maybe it was something like...
But really, though, what was Eli thinking about when the camera caught him looking all types of depressed? TMZ Sportscaught up with the younger Manning to hear his explanation. Watch here:
"I was just focused on whether they were going for two," he said. "The defense had to make some stops." Hmm. Not sure we completely buy that, Eli.
