The Detroit rapper was clearly a good-luck charm, and Crawford dominated the fight, landing a ninth-round TKO to become undisputed welterweight champion.

This all started when Crawford posted a video on Instagram of him training with Shakur Stevenson. The champion confessed he’d love for Em to walk him out to the historic fight. “I think it would be dope to have Eminem walk me out or something like that,” he said, realizing that the rapper had never walked anyone else out before.

Eminem saw the video and was ecstatic. “This is 2 crazy.!!! You r 1 of my favorite boxers rn!” he replied. The rest is history.
