Adrien Broner was reportedly arrested for DUI in Miami Beach, Florida.
According to TMZ, Broner was stopped by police at around 8:45 p.m. local time Friday night. When officers believed he was under the influence, they arrested Broner for DUI.
TMZ reports Broner was awake enough to take a mugshot at a nearby station.
Broner’s bond is set at $1,000. He is currently on an eight-hour hold and will be in jail until at least 4 a.m. on Saturday.
This latest mishap follows a string of unfortunate headlines for the former boxing champion. After a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her at a Cleveland nightclub, he was order to pay her $830,000 in a default judgment, as ESPN reports. He has also failed to appear in court multiple times for a December 2017 speeding incident.
In January of last year, Broner faced Manny Pacquiao for the WBA welterweight championship. Pacquiao won by unanimous decision and retained his title.
