If you are a Sixers fan, then it's okay to believe in moral victories after Saturday's game versus the Warriors.
The NBA's worst team (7-41) played against the league's best (43-4), respectively, in Philadelphia. Most people who looked at this Saturday night's NBA games probably figured that this would be a cakewalk for the Warriors. Through the first half, the Sixers played fairly well, but were trailing because the Dubs were too much to handle, as they held the lead 73-54 at halftime. The Warriors looked like their normal selves by pushing the lead up to 24 points in the third quarter.
But in the final quarter, there was a surge from the Sixers that erased the 24-point lead. It came down to the last minute where the game was tied at 105-105, and the Warriors had the ball. The last second shot came down to neither Dub All-Stars Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, nor Klay Thompson. It was Harrison Barnes was hit the three-dagger in the right corner with 0.2 seconds remaining. The final score was 108-105.
This was a moment in which Philly fans felt proud of their team, so much that they cheered for their lovable losers:
