Update 6/7/16:

The NFL is looking into the possibility that Aqib Talib shot himself (something that isn't without precedent). According to Adam Schefter, the league is "actively" looking into this scenario after they were notified about the possibility by the Denver Broncos.

Schefter further added:

"One league source said NFL commissioner Roger Goodell doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t like guns in the hands of intoxicated players, and he especially doesn’t like guns in the hands of intoxicated players who have a history with guns like Talib has."'

Previously Talib was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after being accused of firing a gun at his sister's boyfriend.

Those charges were eventually dropped.

Update 6/6/16: TMZ Sports has obtained footage that was taken, purportedly, from outside the nightclub Talib was shot at. It shows that four shots were fired. And, though it was edited by the person who captured it, TMZ confirmed that it does seem to match up with the events that took place Sunday morning.

The video recorder claims that he began filming when a host of people gathered outside the V Live club in Dallas:

The Broncos are reportedly investigating the situation.

UPDATED 6:55 p.m. ET: Broncos VP of Media Relations Patrick Smyth confirmed that Aqib Talib is stable condition. Talib was apparently taken to the hospital in his Rolls Royce after being shot early Sunday morning at a Dallas nightclub.

Talib also reportedly told police that he was shot in a nightclub, but denied it was not at the strip club V Live. The Dallas Police Department released this statement regarding the shooting:

The Dallas Police Department did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment. We will continue to provide more information as this story develops.
