What's with all these football-loving felines?

During the third quarter of Saturday's game betweenĀ Memphis and South Florida, a gray cat dashed onto the field right before a TigersĀ kickoff. The four-legged furballĀ was seen running about 40 yards down the sideline before darting under a cart atĀ Raymond James Stadium.Ā

A similar incident occurred earlier this month during the Cowboys-Giants game atĀ MetLife Stadium. Shortly after the game, the stadium announced it had set up a number of "humane traps" to catch the animal. MetLife also denied "erroneous reports" that it "houses andĀ feeds 300 cats."Ā
