Longtime NBA agent Dan Fegan died in a car accident in Aspen, Colorado on Sunday. He was 56. His 5-year-old son and an unidentified 29-year-old California woman were driving in his vehicle with him at the time of the crash. They were both injured and were airlifted to a hospital in Denver in serious condition.

According to the Aspen Times, Fegan was attempting to merge his SUV on to a highway in Aspen when he collided with a commuter bus. No one on the bus was injured in the accident. A spokesperson for the company that owns the bus released a statement on Sunday and said the driver of the bus didn’t have time to avoid hitting Fegan’s vehicle during the crash.
