Are the Clippers Still Trying to Convince DeAndre Jordan to Re-Sign With Them Instead of the Mavericks?

Late last week, DeAndre Jordan announced that he would be signing a four-year, $80 million deal with the Mavericks. He was reportedly going to leave the Clippers at least partly because of his fractured relationship with Chris Paul and join Mark Cuban & Co. But is that a done deal?

We sure thought so. So did everyone else, including angry J.J. Redick. But according to league sources who spoke with ESPN, Jordan isn't sure he made the right decision. And because he technically hasn't signed a contract with Dallas yet, the Clippers are reportedly still pursuing him. Sources told ESPN's Marc Stein that Clippers head coach Doc Rivers and owner Steve Ballmer are actually in Houston today trying to get one final face-to-face meeting with Jordan. ESPN's Chris Broussard is also reporting that Jordan is "torn" and "unsure" about his decision to sign with the Mavericks.

If Jordan does decide to go back to the Clippers, it would obviously change everything for the Clips, the Mavericks, the Western Conference, and frankly, the entire NBA. It would also really, really, really piss Cuban off. How crazy would it be if this happens?!
