So...this is horrible.

Back in February 2013, New Jersey native Eddie Roberson, a 49ers fan, bet his friend Talif Crowley $700 that the Niners would beat the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII. They ended up losing. However, Roberson reportedly felt that the 49ers were cheated out of a win during the game, so after it ended, he refused to pay up. And two days later, following a confrontation between the two men on a Newark, N.J. street, Roberson shot Crowley six times and killed him.

Roberson was just convicted of killing Crowley and will be sentenced to a long prison stint sometime in the near future. So senseless and sad.
