This week in the NFL was a week of constants. The Giants, Steelers, and Jaguars are still awful. Frankly, it's crazy to think that latter is worse than they were last year. It's also crazy to think quarterbacks aren't aware that Jamal Crawford-type crossovers don't work. But it's been a crazy season, if the possibility that the Browns might just win the AFC North didn't clue you in.

The stars found a way to shine again this week, which was a beautiful sight if you own Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch in fantasy football. How they earned those fantasy points were a beauty to watch as well. Rewatch those highlights and find out who loses when a referee and a wide receiver collide on GIF Gallery: The Wins and Fails of NFL Week 4.

Aaron Hernandez is catching bodies and Rob Gronkowski still isn't back, but it's all good.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Aqib Talib

Your team's wide receiver core is improving, but still suspect. Aaron Hernandez caught a body and Rob Gronkowski is out doing Rob Gronkowski stuff while injured. New England ain't really New England nowadays, but there's no need to panic. The Patriots are still 4-0, his name is Aqib Talib, and everything is all right.

Reggie Bush hurdles like it's nobody's business.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Reggie Bush

Never ever sleep on that Y/triangle button...or on Reggie Bush, who rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown against the Bears.

Bills are boring even when they win.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Robert Woods

Imagingee if Woods just requestions his whole life just because this lady obviously doesn't think much of his accomplishment. Seeing people flourish just doesn't pique her attention unfortunately, even though the 2-2 Bills actually look decent these days.

Chiefs Dexter McCluster disses Victor Cruz, and there's not a damn thing the Giants could do about it.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Dexter McCluster

Victor Cruz's 69-yard touchdown catch was supposed to be the turning point for the Giants after their sorry start. There was a chance it could've been similar to 2011, where Cruz's 99-yard touchdown against the Jets sparked an eventual run to the Super Bowl. After a missed Giants field goal before halftime and this 89-yard punt return by Dexter McCluster, it was clear this probably wasn't going to be the case. It wasn't clear that was going to be the Giants' only score in the game though.

McCluster jacks Cruz celebration and the Giants wouldn't—or perhaps couldn't—find a way to respond. The moment extends as a masturbatory sequence for head coach Andy Reid, who started his season by beating three of the four teams from his former NFC East division (the Redskins may very likely be next with the way they're playing). Reid's final game as an Eagle: a 42-7 blowout loss to the Giants. Big Red was triumphant on Sunday.

Beast Mode is not a good time for Houston.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Marshawn Lynch

The thing about Beast Mode is only Marshawn Lynch has the on and off switch. The defense? Well, the best it can do is grab, pray, and hope it doesn't catch a Tracy Porter. We know it's been over two years, but still, holy shit.

Knowshon Moreno plays a new game with himself because beating down teams has lost its luster.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Knowshon Moreno

Who's the most dominant team in the NFL right now? Well, it's sure as hell not anybody from the NFC East. If you're looking for an answer, take a peep at what the Denver Broncos have been doing sans Von Miller. The Broncos have owned their past four opponents by an average of 22.5, and the run started when they bamboozled Baltimore 49-27. The big reason behind that whipping was Peyton Manning, who threw seven touchdowns that game.

He hasn't let up at all since then and broke the record for most touchdowns (16) without an interception in the first four games. And frankly, Knowshon Moreno is bored of it all. Bored of winning. Bored of finding the end zone. He felt it was time to find competition, so he decided to momentarily switch to playing Rock, Paper, Scissors...with himself. Suffering from success! *Khlaed voice*

A win makes Tom Brady giddy and weird.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Tom Brady

The Patriots still aren't great, but they're watchable. Sunday night's game, which had the misfortune of playing during the Breaking Bad finale, definitely was more than watchable. New England was winning 30-13 when Falcons tried to make a comeback with only a few minutes left...and almost succeeded. Atlanta recovered an onside kick, made a field goal, and got lucky with a Tom Brady fumble to get in position to send the game into overtime thanks to Julio Jones' 49-yard catch. Matt Ryan couldn't connect with anybody in scoring territory and fell to 1-3 this season, leaving Brady to send an incredibly happy, trollish shoutout to his mother.

Referees can't stick any defense whatsoever.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Nate Washington

You can get a yellow flag for celebrating the wrong way. You can get a yellow flag for simply spinning the ball in celebration. You touch a referee after a game, that's a fine. But you actually CAN'T get fined if you completely run over one because he decides to stand right in front of you as try to make a highlight reel catch. That's part of the reason this sequence is so entertaining.

Basketball crossovers in football are ill-advised.

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Geno Smith

Also known as the Buttfumble 2.0, this episode is the latest in a rookie year that involves Smith running right into a safety. That's two big fails and he's not even halfway through the regular season. Sometimes the best quarterbacks are the ones who don't shoot themselves in the foot.

Is Adrian Peterson that good or are the Steelers that bad?

Date: 9/29/2013
Player(s): Adrian Peterson

Last season, the Steelers were second in the league in rushing yards allowed. This year the team is still winless going into Week 5 and ranks within the bottom five in that same category. That Steel Curtain has some holes, and didn't get them sown in time for Sunday's game against the worst possible team: Adrian Peterson and the Vikings. Those holes didn't just get exploited; Peterson straight-up ripped some new ones, especially on this run. Here you have the type of play that causes someone playing Madden to be all like "Let me get that rematch" even though he knows damn well one of the homies already called next, like, two games ago. Plus, there's barely been any instances where the Steelers defense looked this bad. When Mike Tomlin spoke with his trademark, hard-nosed professionalism in the postgame conference, you get the slight feeling it may be masking panic.
