"I'm on a fast break. He get in the game, and I'm hype," Jeff explained, adding that he wasn't "going hard at first," since Marquis wasn't getting as many minutes as the elder Teague was on the Hawks.

According to Teague, Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer called out Jeff for taking it easy on his brother.

"Coach Bud was like, 'You playing soft against your brother!'" Jeff recalled. "I get on a fast break and I see it in his eyes, 'Oh, it's me and him!'"

Marquis, who was a guest on the Club 520 Podcast, detailed his side of the story, revealing that Nets teammate Paul Pierce roasted him for getting embarassed by his brother.

"We went in the lockerroom and Paul Pierce laughed at me for an hour straight," Marquis shared. "He said, 'Bro you let your brother fucking do that.'"
