Eric Reid is not here for the news that JAY-Z might become part-owner of a NFL franchise.

"JAY-Z claimed to be a supporter of Colin," Reid said. "Wore his jersey. Told people not perform at the supper bowl because of the treatment that the NFL did to Colin and now he's going to be a part owner. It’s kind of despicable." Reid made the comments while wearing an "I'm With Kap" jersey.

When asked about the idea that the move made JAY-Z a sellout, Reid believed he's "approaching that."

"If Jay-Z is gonna be an owner, is Colin gonna be signed the day he becomes the owner of a team? We'll see," he said. "I think he has a very small window with an ownership position to make a move to get Colin on the field, whatever team he's on."

TMZ reported that JAY was in the process of purchasing a "significant ownership" stake in a NFL team. So far, there isn't information about which team JAY is eyeing or exactly when the deal will be completed. News of JAY possibly becoming a part owner comes after it was announced that he and Roc Nation inked a partnership with the league. Reid, as well as Nessa, criticized the move.

"Interesting timing on the partnership with Jay-Z on the heels of Stephen Ross’ fundraiser for Donald Trump and the backlash his other companies are getting because of it," Reid wrote of the deal earlier this week.

"Jay-Z knew better and did NOT do better," Nessa wrote, in reference to the Roc Nation and NFL partnership. "The NFL used him but that shouldn’t surprise anyone bc that’s how the nfl moves. That’s what the NFL always does - BUY PR LOOKS. Thankfully the people see through this even if it means calling out their idol."
