Nike has an updated version of the Air Max Plus coming as part of its Holiday 2021 lineup, sources familiar with the brand’s upcoming releases tell Complex. The new shoe is called the Air Max Terrascape Plus and features recycled materials throughout.

Nike has not publicly unveiled the Air Max Terrascape Plus sneaker yet, and likely won’t for months to come, but a brand document reviewed by Complex breaks down some elements of its design. The shoe has recycled polyester on the upper and an outsole comprised of 10 percent Nike Grind, a material the company makes from factory waste and recycled shoes. The Air Max Terrascape Plus differs from the original Air Max Plus most notably via the sizable Swoosh printed underneath the TPU cage that wraps around the shoe’s upper.

The Air Max Plus first released in 1998 and has since become a mainstay of Nike’s retro Air Max offerings. The model was long a cult favorite but became newly popular toward the end of the 2010s as Nike produced more colorways, giving the shoe new life in North America in particular.

The document reviewed by Complex shows two debut colorways listed for the upcoming Air Max Terrascape Plus, the cream and white one pictured here (labeled as style number DC6078-100) and a slightly darker, beige one (style number DC6078-100).
